Storm Rover Prototype

Storm is a semi-autonomous rover developed through the Robotics Club of Central Florida for the University Rover Challenge. The platform integrates robotics, computer vision, electronics, and software systems to perform autonomous navigation and object recognition tasks in simulated planetary environments.

Computer Vision Object Recognition

The project involved designing and integrating hardware and software components using ROS 2, Docker, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and custom electrical systems. Development included autonomous navigation, computer vision-based object recognition, simulation and testing in Gazebo, and iterative prototyping of rover subsystems.
